Aims
The Building Fund
The Building Fund provides the funds for the expansion of academic, sporting, cultural and technical facilities and amenities. The monies will also be devoted to the maintenance and care of existing assets. Already the modernisation of the Houses has begun.
The Education Fund
The Education Fund seeks to provide the School with long-term financial security. Contributions to this Fund will be used to build up a corpus of funds. The need to generate additional revenue is crucial and critical in ensuring long-term success. The Foundation’s policy at present is to invest this money and re-invest half of its annual interest while transferring the other half to the Building and Bursary Funds.
The Bursary Fund
The Bursary Fund will accumulate funds for bursaries and scholarships. The Fund will be geared to the provision of other educational ‘facilities’ for pupils’ immediate use where need arises. Rossall recognises its importance within the wider community and is determined to fulfil its duty to provide educational excellence. It is the Foundation’s means of supporting pupils with financial difficulties and these extra pupils will contribute to the overall welfare of Rossall.
