The Building Fund provides the funds for the expansion of academic, sporting, cultural and technical facilities and amenities.
The monies will also be devoted to the maintenance and care of existing assets. Already the modernisation of the Houses in The Square has begun and Big School has been made weather-proof and water-tight.
At the discretion of the Trustees, the Building Fund may be used to support the School's programme of regeneration and refurbishment
The Education Fund seeks to provide the School with future financial security. Contributions to this Fund will be used to create a corpus of funds intended to endow the School with long-term capital strength.
The Foundation’s current policy is to invest prudently the assets of the Education Fund, to re-invest half of the annual interest earned whilst transferring the remainder to the Building and Bursary Funds.
The Bursary Fund will accumulate funds for bursaries and scholarships. The Fund may be called upon by the Headmaster to supplement school fees for a pupil in the event of sudden demand or unexpected need.
Rossall recognises and accepts its responsibilities within the wider community and is determined to fulfil its duty to provide educational excellence at all times.
The role of the Foundation’s Bursary Fund is to support talented pupils whose families may suffer a distressing change in financial circumstances, and the success of such pupils will benefit the general standing and reputation of Rossall.
